All astrological expressions are at a frequency of the overall one energy and awareness of such concepts and traits is one gateway to remembering this.///

Venus-Neptune individuals are often seen as ‘butterfly lovers’. There are those who are forever just out of reach to those that choose to catch them and keep them, or they are the ones in the chase of the butterflies. In the case of the former, people cannot help but be drawn like moths to a flame to them – which just never seems to end well despite the entrancing state of promise which precedes the fated burn and tragedy. Those that chase the butterflies are forever chasing but simultaneously fearful of catching them – if this is to them at all possible.

There is often a distinct difference between how one naturally acts with who they want to become. Confusion about love and its many strands is definitely not uncommon, including what ‘love’ even is; lines get hazy. Romanticism with friendship, mentorship with infatuation are a couple of common examples.

The falling in love with ghosts and the holding onto of the absent, the passed and the nostalgic past. The infatuation with tragedy, the softness of sadness and the infinite sea. The feeling of going to the ends like Romeo did with Juliet – for the one that they see as being the ultimate, or hoping for this commitment from another.

The dramatised yearning kind of love is preferable over easy, conventional and reliable types of relations.

Some other examples:

Being in love with illusions of love, sometimes more than the present love.

Emotional ties to the unattainable/ glamorous/ ‘far-away’ – whether emotionally or and/physically.

Random bouts of extreme romanticism that feels unnatural or can make oneself feel uncomfortable.

Involved in games of deception.

The self in the mirror is quite distorted, exaggerated for the better or worse.

Feeling at odds with the fashion world yet compelled by it.

Dissolved/confusing barriers between self, image of self and others of romantic interest.

Funny or idealistic views of the financial system.

Turning to fantasy – fiction/escapism/philosophy/drugs to replace a more real love and even the lack thereof.

The need to be wary of financial deception, get-rich quick schemes, earning money through drugs.

Feeling bad/guilty about accumulating possessions or being beautiful.

Fluctuating feelings around physical self worth and feeling beautiful – guilt or confusion here.

A love of the mystical or ‘higher’ levels of being at cross purposes with how one may naturally receive and give love.

Interests, desires and a propensity to be pulled towards that which feel at odds to what’s ‘right’.

Love of the gypsy, the musician, the ‘cool-cat’, the ‘guru’ or a distinct dislike for (…are you one?).

Resentment towards being stuck in the physical, 3rd dimension, the mundane.
